Leading consultants in ‘smartcard’ ticketing and associated monitoring systems

The Company has been involved in providing consultancy support to the Oyster project in London from the early development stage, and has particularly focussed on the extension of this scheme to the National Rail network. We have acquired expertise in the systems needed to support smartcards in the field, the revenue protection implications of their use and the development of hand-held devices for use by staff. Attention has also been paid to the monitoring of smartcard use through central system data and the expansion of smartcard retailing by Train Operators.
